Okay, so only the mother of these twins will get my title said with a French accent. LOL Anyway, whomever said twins are just a like, obviously have not met the Z twins. They are cute and adorable as can be, but very much different.

They definitely kept me on my toes and made me realize that I need to up my game when photographing more than one child at a time. They also made me realize that I need to watch the latest Nick Jr. shows so I can know what’s hot and what’s not because I quickly found out that Dora Dora is not, but Yo Gabba Gabba is hot. LOL

This was the most happily energetic little girl I have ever photographed. She made sure I stayed on my toes to get good shots. It was so much fun working with her and photographing her in her new funky outfit.

This outfit was so her. It had the whole girly tomboy look, if that’s even a category. She tried very hard to pose like a girl, but that little tomboy kept peeking out. I loved it. It so reminded me of myself when I was that age. Yes…I can still remember when I was that age!

Gateway to the Beach...sort of. It was still cool looking.

It’s been quite a while since I’ve picked up my camera to create a photograph. I’ve been so busy with other life situations. It was really nice for us to be able to get away for a while. Mind you, it was kind of chilly, but it was still very nice.

We saw a couple of weddings on this beach. Part of me wanted so badly to go and snap a few photos just for the heck of it, but I stayed away and enjoyed watching my kids and my husband play in the water and sand.

I have to admit that it felt really good to pick up the camera again and just sit there photographing what I wanted to photograph and not being rushed to do it.  Not being on a time limit.

I could have literally sat there for hours or even days just clicking away at my leisure.  Those sea gulls were such amazing birds. They are extremely smart. One or two would  slyly walked around our beach chairs the entire time. However, we had no food with us. We decided to go back to the house to get some of our bagels to share with them. Watching them and hearing them warn the others that there was food available was so cool.

My daughter had the best time.

The best part of the trip is knowing that our daughter and our boys had the best time.  Dad and I had a great time too, but, I certainly hope that this is a memory that our kids will keep with them for a very very long time.

Had a very nice child photo session downtown Memphis. I honestly thought the wind would blow us away a few times. But we still had lots of fun. I love going downtown for photo sessions. The textures and all the little things that you’d never notice seem to appear once you put that camera up to your eye.

I enjoyed my chance to work with this little diva. It was so much fun because she knew exactly how she wanted to look in her photos. She knew what kind of expressions she wanted and she knew how she wanted to pose. It was so cute.

CC Photography-Memphis

Well, it took me over two years to figure out which way I wanted to go as far as my website and blog. Well, the day has finally come and I know EXACTLY which way I want to go with them both…I think.

I have changed to a website that is more clean and can be easily viewed on smart phones and iphones. Modern technology has taken off and I don’t want to get left behind. I’ve chosen darker colors this time to help accentuate my photos. I find that I lean heavily toward black & white photos. The darker colors really make those pop out and not have to compete with lots of colors and designs. Simple and sleek.

Anyway, enjoy and thanks for visiting me. Thanks for not forgetting that I was here. You’ll be hearing more from me now that I’m actually happy with the route I have now taken.

Oh, and I was a passenger on my way to the Memphis Zoo when I took the above photo. You didn’t really think I took that while driving, did you? LOL
